Biography

Kate started dancing at 3 years old at Main Street Dance Studio in Panora, IA and continued her training at Iowa Ballet Academy from 6th grade through her senior year of high school. She has had a love for many styles over the years including ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and modern.

Throughout high school Kate participated in Iowa Dance Theatre’s The Nutcracker, participated as a member of her high school dance team, and danced competitively for Iowa Ballet Academy. Most recently,

Kate was a member of the Iowa State University Dance Team where she had the opportunity to dance in front of thousands of cyclone fans and competitively at NDA nationals.

Kate graduated from Iowa State University in May of 2021 with a BS in Kinesiology and Health. She currently works at Scottish Rite Park as a Wellness Coordinator and fitness class instructor.
